Anyhoos, would everyone stop bloody moaning? Leave the mods to sort out the politics. I'm sure they're doing their job well and i dont see why they have to post a report up on everything they do just so we can be nosey. There really is no point in getting banned for somethin we aint involved in.

I think we all need keep it zipped about the said problem that has nothing to do with us, I think gripes with the forum should be either done in members only section or PM an Admin, doing it in guest area is a bit off realy.

i don't want to say too much about something i don't know 100%. i can see y thing's have to come off the site (no problem with that). Just y legal action what happened to freedom of speach (spelling not v.good). i can see alot of people are upset. but i think we should not fight about it and stick together for the club. we're all here to talk about and get advice about 300zx's.

There you go again, you cannot help yourself. This has absolutely nothing to do with you. It's between another member, a trader and the committee.

If you have concerns with any comittee member or moderator, please use the appropriate channels of communication. This is your last warning.

 

 

Steve in all honesty mate it has nothing what so ever to do with the comittee, did the comittee pay the bill or work on the car, i think not. its to do with the trader and the customer and thats it, what gives you the right to get involved, paul just needs a hand in dealing with it, also making us all aware of what a fake and a crap job this trader did and how is after care was............................... well he didnt give a shit in all honesty and talked a load of shit. simple really. this is not a dig at the comittee because im sure your trying your hardest to help the forum, however i must admit you guys work so slow for sumthing so serious, you guys say we as a forum have been threatened, but i dont see any sign of you guys doing anything to protect the forum, all you have dun is have a go at a lad that has only posted up 3 times voicing his opinon, come on steve you know that was abit ott. i think you guys do a great job as volantiers, but b4 you took this job you shud have been told what was involved and what you may be confronted with so i have no simpathy for you (in a nice way ok).

do you as members want the club funds being used to fight court cases

or paying lawyers to fire off letters denying all knowledge of A-B or C

To the best of my knowledge, no internet forum (in the UK at least) has been sued - both the cases you cited were where the forum were forced to provide details of the users - but damages were claimed against the poster, not the forum.

I haven't felt the need to comment regarding the situation between Paul and the trader and I sympathise greatly with Paul and what has allegedly happended to him.

 

No-one likes to see people get treated this way and I can understand the very high feeling this has produced. I can't remember who posted saying lets just leave it alone until the trader has had his chance to comment on the situation if he wants to in public but I think that is what people should do.

 

I think your remarks about 'fake and crap job and how his after care was etc ..' is out of order and not fair to the trader whatsoever.

Paul mate. I wasnt refering to you buddy. Sorry i should have been a bit more specific? I was just replying to the overal situation and meant nothing towards what you have going on with Neil mate. Its just that some people seem to want to make fun of the whole thing and I dont agree with that. I (myself thnk that Shunter should tell us who it is. Not so as we can attack them but so as we know who within our midst is being stupid?

umm i think thats what i meant m8, as i said they were just quick examples i found, and if the forums in question hadn't produced the users details?

Sorry to say it but I think posts like this serv only one purpose and that is to waft the flames. I think this thread should be removed and a simple statement as per the one I've PM another Mod with should be put in its place.

 

This thread is merely drawing attention to something that should be delt with privately by the individuals concerned with the Mods as abitrators. The results of which should then dictate the action needed to be taken.

Well I have not been on for a couple of days... well a week as i'm busy running around getting my house sorted to sell..But whats happened to this forum..i have ever meet such a good bunch of people. last year at JAE this forum this club proved to me that it was some thing I wanted to be part of and since then i have been saving for my frist ZED. So come lets chill out.

For a subject that has nothing to do with anyone else theres a lot of opinions. I cant believe Im going to actually say this........BUT! here it goes.......

 

Close the thread leave the committee alone and let paul sort it out. I am sure we will all learn the outcome sooner or later.
