apart from removing the starter locking off the flywheel to lock the crank off,what a waste or energy,wrap an old ancilary belt around the waterpump and over the crank pulley then start to undo,this will strangle to crank pulley and in turn will undo the bolt

or just use an air gun with a shallow 27mm! :hyper:

unless they have had a massive water leak and the ****er has decided to seize on :rofl: then the 10ft scaffold bar comes out :D

always find the sprocket in fromt of the oil pump is the worst to get off.had one seized on an s13 and had to press it off the crank.the oil pump wasnt good for much after!! :rofl:

air grinder sometimes is the only way :D
