'Light' on Dashboard always on?

Hey there

Recently installed a new engine in my Zed and now the 'Light' is constantly lit on the dashboard.

Any advice on what this could mean?

Thanks

It is the one that says 'Light' ,on the left hand side.

Sounds like the 'Bulb Out' circuit to me.

Position = Directly left of steering colum, bank of six lamps, bottom left of these, red filter??!! If so then, as above, it's you Bulb out circuit, if it's on constantly, then probably a fault in the relay. You should find this attached to the rear righthand rear lamp cluster behind the panel in the boot. Check all the bulbs first though, then you'll have to check the relay unit, or replace it.

How do I go about checking this relay unit??

If faulty can it be fixed or just replace it??

Thanks

You may/should be able to open up the relay unit if it fails the checks, and try to see if you can find what is wrong.

Failing all that, bin it and get a good one from a scrapper/breaker local to yourself.
