Datascan: Incorrect speed

I've been having some trouble with the Datascan software. It thinkx i'm moving much slower than I actually am. For example when I'm doing 30MPH, it thinks I'm doing 20 MPH (roughly). This makes the software a bit useless!

I have changed he settings from KPH to MPH on the preferences.. but that didn't help.

I'm guessing it might have something to do with how my car was converted to MPH from KPH...but I have no idea how this was done. It was converted by SVA UK when i first imported it.

Has anyone got any idea on how I could fix this?

Its definately down to the converter. 30 KM's per hour =18.64 MPH

The signal its reading is KPH (as this is changed by the speedo converter to read MPH) so thats how it should be set in the preferences. You may beed to disconnect from the port and restart the software before the change will take effect.

You need to have Datascan set to KMH rather than MPH
