Glen,

I would be wear of aquiring Second hand material. Splatterings of Turkey fat can ignite after the prolonged heat from the Head light usage.

Seriously - You can either by Sainsbury Bacofoil £1.99 for 10 meters or Sainsbury 300ZX Bacofoil £599.00 for 2mm - You will have to shop around tho - It is hard to find because us tight fisted 300ZX never part with our cash for such top class performance mods !

Jeff tt upgrade lists the part no. It is in the technical section. Does the fact that it's in bits mean you aren't doing Bolney?

Glenn I should not be telling you this bud,But I will TIP before you fit the glass back on the headlamps, put a few sausages and burgers over the foil wink.gif,by the time you get to work you will have a fuckin cheap hot meal biggrin.gif.

Must admit though after seeing the Mat Lads headlights close up in his rides section it does look pretty damn good! wink.gif

Nevermind the fact it might be bacofoil FFS, I would rather have my Blue Peter headlight conversion than stack me fooking car(again) because I "...didn't see that elk stood in the road chewing on some cud! Sorry Officer Dibble!" so Jeff, count me in mate. wink.gif

Timmy Lad,

I no longer fear driving in the dark or even worse, in the dark and it's raining....now that is some scary shit, especially if it's a rural area with no lamp-post's to giud you home!

Th light upgrade is a must, if Jeff does it or if you do it yourself, it does need to be done!

Senna,

To actually answer your question...

You find it in homebase. It is made by Alkor Decodesign. I did have a part no for it. Do a check on forum as jeff did post it. It's about £5 a roll. 1 rolls enuff. Good luck.

Tip: forget the hairdryer use a hot air gun

£5 per roll and yet £150 for the job??? Covering costs my fuckin arse!!!! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

CheerZ,

No there you go again Mr Duff opened mouth before engaging brain!

£150 included the time to remove & replace the lights form the car the cost of the film the cost of the new upgrade bulbs and the labour to dismantle and reassemble the lights service the adjusters and last of all cut and fit the film.As a measure of time ,when I did Matty`s it took over 9 hours all told so less the materials you are looking about 12 per hour which I for one think is fair if not it can be self done.

Jeff TT

I can confirm that the job is a bitch.

Oh come on Hinge & Bracket i've met you both and you are top guys, and i think most people on this forum would agree!.The two of you are very lucky to have the knowledge & know how to look after these cars the way you do & I for one am happy paying for such excellent service.Andy if I lived closer to you I would feel guilty taking up your spare time to solve my car problems for nothing when if i went to a main dealer (no not tooley LOL)i would be on my second mortgage by now, so i think its time you 2 offered a joint service,(EG drop car off 5 oclock for jeff to do work go drinking with Andy to keep you occupied till car is ready or till stella runs out, by the time it comes to paying the the bill you wont give a shit how much cause your too pissed to care & to happy your car is fixed properly. LMFAO pissed again, Jamie

JRTT - At last a voice of sanity biggrin.gif

you might expect an ex-hippy to say come on guys be nice to each other so I will.

If you want to slag each other off just remember that slag is the worthless lump left after all the good stuff has been taken out.

It seems that both of you (and a lot of the other guys in the forum) are squillions of times better than other (insert your own hate figure here).

More than that, the 300ZXTT is possibly the finest 4 wheels on god's earth so spleen should be vented on other cars? Ish?

Ah well - hello clouds, hello sky - fotherington-tomas exits left waving mrs joyful prize for rafia work and beaming incomprehezibly under cute blonde kurls - chiz chiz chiz

Its definatly good entertainment, talking of which who's up for a group buy to purchase a web cam for Mrs Turbo? Sunday night live in Timmy's karaoke mansion!!! FFS we could all cancell our sky subsciptions for that one, what ya reckon Mrs T? ROFLMAO trying to get this F'KIN cork out the bottle

Good-oh, gents. As a newbie, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between two fine pals having a jolly jape and someone going for the f***ing jugular. I'll get used to it sooner or later I guess biggrin.gif

Disregard this wimpish wimping if you please - mostly you all appear to be jolly nice chaps just about most of the time. At least you do if I have had enough red wine.

Well i for one cant fault jeffTTs work at £12 an hour is a bloody bargain. Without people like him all of us who are not so technically minded would all be driving knackered z's around, either that or saving up for our next visit to the nissan garage. Keep up the good work jeff!

Here you go

Tooley v Johnny = jolly jape

macca v Timmy = jolly jape

Duffman v Jeff = jugular

Wazza v Jools, Jayen, Timmy etc etc = jugular

RobB v Macca = jolly jape (rob hopes wink.gif )

Everyone v Suprat = jugular

Hope this helps biggrin.gif

Jamie me old mucker you just hit the massive nine inch nail right on the sweet spot mate!

FFS, I tried to get this point over to the Duffman Hoffman a few weeks ago!

I am going right round the fucking houses trying to get my pissing oil pressure sensor sorted by Nissan! I know Mr. P has offered and Latz for that matter but sometimes you just don't feel right taking the piss out of good hearted folk.

Jeff...Andy sort it out will ya???

I have met Jeff and I know the Stella King and as I said you both offer something we will never get from any MAIN FUCKING DEALER! Excuse the lang but I do feel strongly about this.

You know about my weekend episode at said Nelson Delia??? Well the guy who lives over the road from me used to work for that very same Dealer for about 12 years. Mrs Turbo was chatting with him tonight telling him about my shite experience down there and he said to her that the Service Manager(Steve) was the reason he packed in and went to work for Halfords saying that he's a twat and obnoxious(is that how you spell it?) bastard! Don't I know it?

Andy I know where you are coming from, crate of Stella and you're anyones, Jeff, you're trying to do right by the guys and charging...who fucking cares?

Andy am I mistaken in assuming that when the GPS machine gets up and running more commercially you aren't gonna be a major player in fitting etc.??? Kick my fuckin' ass if I'm wrong! wink.gif

So stop fucking bitching about it and pull together which is what this forum is all about!!!

Nuff said!

All IMHO naturale! biggrin.gif
