I've got an Alfa dealer near me and I've past it many a time and noticed the Brera parked outside and my god...

I have to say that it is stunning! I popped in today on my way back from loafing from the work that I NEVER do to have a ganders and I was absolutely gob smacked on the gorgeousness of the thing!!!

I remember when the 350Z and the RX-8 first came out, I was off to the showrooms like a rat up a drain pipe to see them and to be perfectly honest I felt a bit disappointed when I left. Yeah don't get me wrong they are nice cars but not quite what I would call stunning.

But my god this new Alfa is amazing, one thing I liked was the guages, Olio for oil pressure, Aqua for the water temp and Benzine for the fuel guage! LOL :D

They do it in 2.2 180 bhp, 3.2 (IIRC) 260 bhp and a diseasel (to quote 'Q') but I must admit the styling and the interior is probably the most exquisite that I've ever seen on any car ever.

But...oh and I want one yesterday!....................

The electrics are summoned together by peasants in Sicily...ex-farmer brigade on less than minimum wage and they break all the time! So NO! ;)

yes they look stunning, but like all italian cars they'll be very unreliable, i know this from experience.

and just to burst your bubble, its still a fiat..!

there one down here without the reg plates at the moment ,,nice looking car

Nice? Eh? What?

Go and check it out properly! Even Top Gear think it's proper man porn it is, showroom was empty when I walked in for a butchers but trust me the salesman was none to happy as he caught me cracking one off and legging it out with me Duck and Covers half way up me legs shouting "Sorry but I think I've just cum!!!" LMFAO :D :D :D

The Brera really is a stunning car and would get one if I had the cash.

5th Gear's VBH drove the diesel one a few weeks ago and said it was gorgeous but the handling wasn't up to Alfa's usual standards :(

Maybe the V6 will be a bit more sporty though.

I'm a big Alfa fan and had a few over the years.

They're not the most reliable cars but the 3 i've had have only had minor electrical problems and been a thousand times more reliable than this 15 year old Z

The back reminds me of a Chrysler Crossfire

Perhaps not from this angle though ....

My Brother Has had 15 Alfa's and races 2 he has had just about every model

From Sud up and has had no problems other than a cambelt letting go on

a 2.5V6

He even has a 3.0 75 veloce that he bought 15 years ago and it is still going strong after 175,000 miles with only a top end rebuild.

I think the Brera is Fantastic BUT i WOULD NOT TELL MY BRO that :D
