What's the point of a nitrous purge? That's like have a petrol jet out the top of the car firing off litres of your £1 a litre loopy juice, stupid fookin addition to a car in my opinion :rofl:

the purge kit doesnt use nitrous to clear the lines as far as i know.

 

and johnnyboy REALLY wants one after seeing a chaved boy racer with it......

purge kit is to purge the lines, and yes it does use the nitrous gas.

 

only really usefull on a proper drag car

Yeah, that's my Z :) Fitted it last weekend. I've had the nitrous on for about a year though. I only use it on the strip as nitrous is f***in expensive.

Like a few of you said it is to clear the nitrous line of air so it doesn't hesitate when you flick the nitrous on (which it did, but now doesn't)

It's not just for real drag cars either as all the principles are the same.

It may not be to everyones liking, but I'm well pleased it. Gonna scare the guy next to me on the line at Pod the next time I go :) and come on, if you had nitrous fitted, your telling me you wouldn't get a purge valve?

Oi you lot :D This was when i was 21 :D Fair game then and not many 21 year olds driving 3 litre straightsix cars then either :D

 

Nope fit in just fine with an inch or so above me and i don't even have the seat all the way back, the chunkster has a freakishly long body and sits a good inch or two higher than me in a zed :D
