Another Autobox question!

Hi all,

I know there's a few posts about autoboxes at tho mo..

Just wondered if there symptoms of an autobox 'going'..

 

I only say as sometimes when i put my foot down, it doesnt kick down, and also tonight on my way back from work, im sure it was missing a gear..

then other times, it seems perfectly fine..dont know if its just me as its my first auto car..

 

its a '90 TT Jap Auto - no cooler installed, yet..also i've no idea when the autobox oil was last replaced, if ever, so is it just worth, getting it changed anyway?
