hi guys is there a difference between uk and jap rear shocks? i know uk cars are electrically adjusted (arent they?)

Featured Replies

Yes, UK cars come with the Electronic actualtor on top, and Jap shocks don't.

Most ditch the adjustable Uk shocks and fit Jap or Aftermarket.

is there any way to enable the actuator manually? am i correct in saying that the actuator is enabled by the handbrake? is it possible to install a US-spec switch to manually adjust this? has anyone done this before?

for those of you that dont know, US cars have a switch by the electric mirror switch that has Touring and Sport settings.

As far as I know the US cars are adjustable all round and UK only at the rear, is this correct?

Pull your handbrake up one click and that will enable stiff mode!!! Your handbrake light will come on but the rear brakes arn't actually rubbing...

Yes it is possible to fit a switch which is within the handbrake...

The us modles will make the front and rear stiff... The uk 300ZXTT already has the stiffer shocks on the front, the us 300's are softer cause they like are softer ride....
