Loss of Revs

1992 Twin Turbo import automatic

 

from standstill sometimes when you first put your foot down, the revs completely drop and sounds like the engine's cutting out! any idea what this could be?

    Mine did that for a while, shortly after changing fuel lines, never found out why, doesn't do it anymore?

    ah ok, i'll give that a try. i know where the fuel lines are maybe there's a blockage or something!

    is it worth putting some fuel line cleaner from halfords in the petrol tank which is meant to clear the fuel lines?
