at last i've picked up my Zed :nana2:

 

got a couple of questions though.....

 

firstly the car is missing its air filter :confused: , where's the best (ie. cheapest) place for an apexi cone filter?

 

i've had a quick look around under the bonnet and i've noticed a small device at the back next to the battery. its small and round, about 1.5 in diameter and 1 inch high with a braided hose coming off the bottom leading down behind the engine, it looks like a minature actuator, and its a HKS part, but i've looked on their japan, usa and europe sites but can't find it listed :confused:

Funny that My Zed was missing afilter when I got it, but lucky for me I found a Carbon tub in the boot, made a bracket and fitted it :)

got a brand new apexi (apexera) filter for sale pete, £85 delivered available now

or a used one, less than 8 months old £65 delivered, wont be available for a few weeks

in the box is the filter, the bolts and the gasket, no brackets. never saw the point in the brackets, my other apexi is fine without them and loads of people will say the same.

so with the exception of the brackets, everything required to fit the filter is in the box?

you dont realy need brackets, i havent used any on mine, and it nice and sturdy.

i've never seen one fitted with any brackets anyway.
