Just ordered mine, if this works really well I can hold off on the expense of a new radiator!!!

yep theres someone selling them on ebay for approx £8 per bottle delivered, i ordered from them few weeks ago, far cheaper then demontweeks etc there price is £15/19 for the same thing. millers also do a similar product which is good as redline

Im waiting to get my coolant temp gauge going before I add mine so I can see if it actually makes a difference.

no idea, my after market guage must be shot as it only ever reads about 50 / 60 degrees but my recent datascan install is showing around 80!

wonder how much difference this stuff makes, presumably you have to drain the system to put it in anyways, so maybe its just the drain and refil with fresh thats making the difference (happy to be proved wrong)

I've noticed a definite drop in temperature since doing a rad flush and adding a bottle of Water Wetter. Datascan shows my temp at 72 degrees max even when sitting still.

...was once told that water wetter works by removing any coating from the internals of the water system - like a mild acid - and if you've any worry about the quality of the cores in your rad, don't do it.

Mind you, if you live in an area of hard water, then it might be ok. Personally I'd use a 50 50 mix of good antifreeze and de-ionised water.

...what about all these heater matrix leaks - any link to water wetter?

sounds good but is it due to the flush alown or the flush plus the water wetter? guess we will find out when kam does his stuff

Well, I suppose when I said flush, I just meant I emptied the rad then refiled it rather than try and add it any other way. The water I removed was pretty clear.

Oh and Jack has gone and got me all worried now, better read up and check it out. The bumf I read said it worked by enabled the heat transfer process to work more efficiently both ways.

Gaz - sorry about that. I ran an early group 4 Saab 99 turbo may years ago and enquired about water wetter co a race car engineer who told me not to use it. The answer for the 99 was a 900 radiator as it was bigger.

good luck
