Firstly thanks to Legrath for the datascan-im well impressed! If anybody hasnt got a Datascan or similar-get one!im sure it will be invaluable in the future for fault finding.I will put up some screenshots of my results soon but i have a few questions firts

My Throttle (TPS) was between 0.30-0.31.Is this out as my idle is high (0950 rpm)

Also my O2 sensors dont move much if not at all at idle however they go crazy at 2000 rpm.is this right?

Cheers in advance

ive found out the TPS is a mile out from doing a search

Anybody got a clear and concise description of how to adjust it (bearing ive got datascan to help me)

Thanks

tps iirc should be .44 or .45 and o2 sensors should be still until throttle applied then both should move v fast , over time they become lazy and they will slow up.

You need to set your base idle first before adjusting the TPS. TPS voltage is not a specific value. So setting it at 0.42v may not work for your car.

1. Disconnect the Idle valve and set the base idle to 750rpm's

2. Set the TPS voltage

(I) Turn the TPS until the RPM's pick up slightly

(II) Now turn back until they settle - at this point the TPS voltage should be

between 0.40v - 0.45v

3. Perform an ECU reset

Ive just done this today and the car seems entirely different.

Smoother power delivery, auto changes gear when it should and above all the idle sits nicely around the 800-850 mark.

did you just install the software then plug in the cable and go?

When I plug in my cable the new hardware wizard pops up looking for appropriate soft ware.

the hardware wizard should ask you to connect to the web to find the software for the cable mate.

There are some extra drivers on the Blazt site http://www.blazt.biz if you're using a USB connector.

anyone else tried it on a drive..I noticed my fuel ratio went lean when i booted it even when i kept the boost below 10psi?

not tried it on the road yet. but just confirmed what i thought, my rev counter is way out. reading 1000 + when idling at about 750.

when statioary a/f ratio is lean but goes to jumps to rich and back under revs

my tick over seems high too about 950-1000rpm could this be the same thing

Looks like I've got 2 problems, TPS is way to low reading between 0.56 and 0.82 from idle to 2000 rpm.

Also getting a code 54 reported - something to do with an autobox signal missing

Then the main data screen locked up and refused to work again, I could get the dash board screen working, but the main data screen just displays most guages at zero, even tried a re-install

Ive tried it when driving along and all i can say is up until 2k revs nothing seems to happen to the o2 sensors but when above 2k they go crazy sweeping back and forth

kamikaze, my o2 sensors do the same until wide open throttle (opr near it ) then they stabilise at a high reading, assuming that is kind of normal for them as they are supposed to move quickly

understand, i think it would be good if we get a datascan area set up then people can swap the traces they take and have a look at what other peoples zed are like during runs. Shoudl be pretty revealing as to whats going on

No it's still an auto, so I'll have to find out some possible causes an check it out this weekend, hoping it's something simple.

robo i read a thread once where the tps wiring was causing a lost gearbox signal and the bloke had to run a new set of wires to his ecu
