Mine at present is 138mph before I realized I was about to miss my motorway exit. I did it at some unearthly hour of the morning on an almost empty motorway.

good day wasnt it lol

Private tracks lucky boys, I want to play as well. I've never had a clear enough piece of road to go any faster yet. As in no one to get in my way or cams to spoil my fun.

146mph in my carlton gsi 24v not managed to go more that 135mph in the zed

I was in last place on the same track. honest guv I remember seeing all those guys there...

I think 165 is all I got to but there was loads of throttle left...on the track obviously....

Not on a public road of course.......

......but I've driven an HKS prepped Supra TT at an indicated 300km/h (that's 187.5mph :hyper: )

A long time ago (at least 12 years back) I had a go in a Lister tuned Jaguar 6.0 V12 - saw over 170mph on the M11 :x:

Richard :smw:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've had a few bikes off the clock - over 300kph (186mph).

Generally overseas, occasionally at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground.

Had a 280ZX about 20 years ago and regularly had it running flat out which was around 145 on the clock, so probably 135. I recall one time racing a Porsche along the M11 and slowing up near to where the Police used to sit, Porsche shoots by, Police pull out, go past me, pull the Porsche over and I go past both. Well, he was a bit of a dick, he didn't spot them and left it until 50 feet away to slam the brakes on.

Had a 3.0L Alfa 164 that used to go very well indeed and had that up to over 130.

Jag XJS similar speed.

The current 300 is limited to 112 :( but I've just ordered a spanking new chip from that nice man at DTA :D so I'll er ... be looking out for some private road ;) .

don't know i don't look at the speedo
