I am wondering more about my car. I am stuck in 2 minds. When I see standard Zs for sale, they seem to sell quite easy. But because mines has a couple of bits done to it, it makes it harder to sell.

Would I be best to take off the alloys and BOVS to help sell her??

I now think that I will have to get the HICAS problem sorted as I may put people off buying it.

Thanks for the Poll.

I think those rims will help it sell, and everyone loves BOVs!

The most important thing when it comes to selling a car is having a realistic price. Your eBay advert looks good and the buy it now price is not too high.

Best of luck with it, Mike...

take the wheels off and i will swap you for some standard ones.

If thats a no go then leave em on :D

Bird I thought I was a guy who changed my mind around too much (14 cars in 4.5 years Im only 22) . But after reading some of your posts you are worse than me. :nana2:

I do already have standard alloys sitting in the shed but the tyres are no great deal on them.

The things I would remove would be BOVs, alloys, CD Player (replac with one not so good) and Leather seats. But I would prefer to buy the car like that which is the only reason I am leaving them in. Should have thought they would make the car more desirable, instead of a standard car.

the wheels make the car i think mate

Hang in there Bud. I have found selling cars on ebay a bit of a problem to get a good price. People seem to think they should get a bargain. It is a good place to buy a car but not to sell I think. Bought my Z off ebay but struggled to get a good price for my old car. Sold it outside of ebay in the end so consider that if it dosent reach the reserve. Try to deal with the highest bidder at the end.

Good luck with it.

Cheers guys. I am going to advertise the car using Autotrader. Seems to work for most of my cars similiar to this one. Quite expensive but works. At least I know I should keep her like that.

Thanks again,

I'm not so sure Autotrader works as well as it used to.

I have bought and sold a few cars on eBay. I agree with Cooper (above) it can be harder to sell, but you've got a low enough price on there to attract some interest.

I'd be tempted to leave autotrader for a while and see what happens on eBay.

How many people are watching it?

wrong time to put it on ebay m8

everyman and his dog has probably listed one, all to save £6 :headvswal

cos of the free listing day, my opinion if they are gonna scrimp to save £6 what else are they willing to save??
