the plastic plate on the 3rd piccie isnt screwed down thats why it looks a little skewif!

how do you get the fookin glovebox out then??

i undid the bit on the right and then looked ofr more scres as it wouldnt dropall the way down.. the aus300zx link doesnt work..

any ideas guys?

thanks

i can get that done then..

this is the section behind the drivers seat, the top tweed section is stapled to the bottom piece, i have new staples to go through the old holes when its trimmed over, going to trim both sections however the lower section i may do some embossing in it.

Getting glove box out isnt too hard, cant remember what I did off top of head, but most screws were visable. Think there was a plastic trim underneathe that wasnt screwed on, had those plastic bits the push into metal clips. Then the main bolts are under there. Something like that!!

Getting the bugger back in properly I found hard, but still my left side is a little low. It p!sses me off, but cant see why its doing it. Didnt help that the numpty before me had ripped it all out and lost screws etc...

thank i will try that tomorrow ..

Right, remove the left vent plate (door shut area) unscrew the outter trim panel, remove the two 10mm nuts at the underside of the glove box, this allows it to drop to get side panel off. Then you can get at the right hand side screw that holds on the glove box dampener, jiggle it about a bit and it'll come out.

Remove the metal plate and you have access to the lefthand side panel for the centre consol.

Hope all that makes sense, it will when you're in there doing it. :D

looking good mate, two of the hardest pieces as well  good job

nah the hardest was the middle rear panel and the lift up lid.
