Hello people ive just purchased a 1991 zx300 non turbo auto and was wondering it has 113000 miles on the clock it has uk mph stickers on the clocks does this mean that the mileage is in miles or is the mileage clock still in kph due to it being a targa import? also is 113000 many miles on these cars? it have been well looked after and has recently had a timing belt fitted and service carried out.

Welcome,

It will be in KM, until the MPH convertor was fitted, then the remaining mileage would of been in Miles.

You would need to know the mileage when imported, or when the Convertor was fitted to know the true mileage. But it will be less than what is displayed, as most of it will have been in KM.

No reason to worry about higher mileages though, they are robust engines capable of high mileage as long as it has been properly serviced through its life. (which it will have been while in Japan, due to there strict regulatins on servicing and maintenance)

Cheers dude and i must say thats 1 nice motor you have there.

If converted to UK MPH you should have got a certificate if fitted by a garage to show what the KPH mileage was before the conversion.
