Thanks its quite a cool little camera, takes good movie clips as well. I`ve got some really good ones of the helicopter flight over Bagdad but have no way of hosting them at the moment. The system we use times out if you try to upload files that are more than about 500k.

The manual for mine is about 4 times the size of the camera so needless to say I didnt bother reading it.

lol, this one is completely idot proof especially on the full 7 megapixel with a tripod. The picture is good enough for a magazine/a2 poster really nice balance

 

Only annoying feature it's missing is that it saves in jpeg, not raw

not being technically minded, i have no idea what a macro lense is, and what makes it different from my normal digi camera
