I was ringing around to get a steel crank i was told by the owner of Tuning Japanese that us 300zx owners never seriously spend on our cars!!!! fucking cheek! when they gave me a price i compared it and it was ok so i gave them a call back to find out how long it would be and i was told i was not a serious enquirer and that they didnt want my business!!!

 

i quote "We take many calls from 300zx owners, but frankly no-one appears to wish to spend the kind of money on them that they need to develop serious power.

We can all supply a big back box, air filter and the like.. But we specialise in getting the best performance"

 

another quote "You replied OK, I will get back to you" Not the response of someone who actually wants to purchase the product."

 

and finally "At this time, I felt you had little or no regard for what we do or what is involved in the process of crank manufacturing, so merely asked if you were a seriuos enquiry! Your reply was" Dont you want my money?!"...Quite honestly, if this is your attitude, then NO we do not need your business!"

 

I guess they dont want any business then, so i rang and spoke to Michael, Managing director at HKS and i explained to him that i have bought everything pretty much HKS for my zed. He was an extremely helpfull person and he said that they are putting people in to deal with our enquiries so we dont have top speak to arsy people like that!. how cool is that???!!

 

Anyways long and short of it is that Michael said if we have any queiries about HKS stuff to phone the European HQ and they will ehlp you there! NICE

Fucking tossers!!! I agree with Warren, maybe you should have pointed that out to them Latz man. Reason why they don't get that many enquiries from Z owners is coz the components used as stock were race spec anyway!

 

I know I bleet on about the engine being shite and needing rebuilding but that's just a laugh! At the end of the day it had a pukka crank, forged pistons etc.

 

I would strongly suggest that if you want anything like that Latz mate don't bother ringing people like that! Get on the dog & bone to Johnny boy and let him kick ass for you!
