I discovered last week that the alignment or whatever on my zed was so bad the front tyres are really worn out on the inside edge. Rear tyres have uneven wear but will be ok for several months.

 

So i was thinking once i get the tracking, alignment sorted for all wheels i will first fit a pair of Goodyear Eagles on the front. And a month after that fit another pair of Eagles to replace the existing Bridgestone X-grid tyres.

 

Is it bad to change to new tyres half at a time?

ive done it on all my cars should be fine. ive seen z's with different tyres on each corner!

as long as tyres on the end of each axle is the same it shouldn't be a problem and they are the correct speed ratings. I wouldn't put different ones on opposing corners though.

ive got different tyres on the front to the back, have done for a couple of years now, never had any problems
