split bushing

just went to check the handbreak shoes and i thought i would check the bushings first (good job too as the fookin heavens opened right up and it lashed down with the old thnder and lightshow too!!).

i noticed on the end of the arm that comes from the hicas the bushing looked like it was frayed, after closer examination with a plastic probe i found it was split, and a grease like gunk was oozing out.

can i get a pair of bushings to replace this one and the other side? and is it easy to fit?

thanks.

piccy attatched..

just done this on mine, the ball joint is approx £50 from mike at mjp, unfortunatley it has to be pressed in so your need to strip it down to get the hub carrier off

yep.. thats the one.. thanks mal!!

got a pair sorted gonna replace both.. havent checked the other one yet but i will just do both. all the other bushing under there are fine, as i intend to drop the rear off and clean it up then re-powder coat it i can do it then, should be next week before i can get the parts in for coating. so plenty of time to take it all off. also gonna change the rest of the bushings at same time and any hoses or pipes i see that i think need changing, theres a hydraulic/pneumatic place in town that will custom make any pipe for me, found it yesterday.
