hi everyone im looking at getting a go karting day going.

There is one in Eastleigh and have been told its one of the best go-kart tracks around.

info

Team Challenge 45

· Drivers briefing

· 10 minute practice session

· 45 minutes of team racing

· Trophy presentation for the top team

· Approx 2 drivers per team

· £37 per driver + £2 insurance

or

Super 3 grand prix

Caters for small groups of 12 or more

Series of heats and semi finals

Grand Final for the top 6 drivers

Podium Presentation

Just £37 + £2 insurance

Each driver will receive a practice session followed by a series of heats. All drivers then race in a semi final, with the top 6 qualifying for the Grand Final.

A podium presentation with trophies for the top 3 drivers finishes the event in true F1 racing style and with all this for just £37 + £2 insurance.

please post interest so i can arrange a date for the event depending on enough names ect.

cheers

I've been to Eastleigh loads of times. The best competition is the IronMan Challenge, 30 minutes of individual racing. Endurance team event is good and tactics really take effect (must have x number of driver changes).

Personally, I prefer the track at Salisbury as I find the bridge at Eastleigh penalises those of us with a little extra weight. However it's much slippier at Eastleigh so there are more spins and opportunitites for big oversteer action.

I would REALLY like to go ad play with the twin engined karts on the outdoor track at Thruxton. Reported to be a bit like indoor karting except these ones go to 11! 60mph and they often wet part of the track for some entertaining drift action.

Done indoor karting recently, definitely up for outdoor karting though.
