One of my cats has just brought a baby thrush into the house. After slapping the cats arse, I now have a baby bird to look after. It looks too young to fly but other than that seems ok. It is in my greenhouse at the minute but it will obviously need feeding and it does not look like the mother is coming looking for it.

 

Looks like the bird has a place to stay until it can fly, as long as I can get it fed...

Mothers dont normally cone back to them once the smell of human is on them. Feed it up and let it go when its better. Will probably die though.

The missus is feeding it worms with tweezers..the things we do...
