I have now found out that my Clifford 850 is not thatcham approved :headvswal I couldn't be more p1ssed off about it :headvswal

Anyway, now I need to get a Thatcham approved Category 2 immobiliser fitted.

I have been quoted £125 by In Car Electrics, just down the road and Bob from SafeandSound in Chester quoted £80...

So, first question, does anyone know a good cheap fitting place near me?

Second question, and the real problem is:

I don't want the cat 2 immobiliser to interfere with the turbo timer that is part of my clifford alarm at the moment.

Is this possible?

Thanks, Mike...

Yeah, 650 and 950 are approved.

Fvck knows why anyone would fit a non-approved alarm to these cars!

Anyway, can anyone help?

All I can suggest is to go to a Clifford registered dealer and ask for their advice. They might be able to change the immobiliser or something!
