Thought as i had a bit of spare time i'd take my front wheel off and see what the new rims look like on there.

Only problem, the flipping centre bore is too small on the wheel, gutted :( Remembered muffy saying they were off a supra when i bought them just checked and here are the stats...

PCD 5 x 114.3 (for both)

Offset 35-38 (35-42 for zed)

C/Bore 60 (66 for zed)

So what do i do and am i going to need spacers as well, this whole wheel replacement thing just got a whole lot more complicated and expensive :(

(incidently not muffy's fault, i bought them thinking they'd be exactly the same silly me)

if they dont fit, dont put them on.. period. Either get them machines out to fit, flog them, or put them in the bin, dont bodge around with spacers, you migth end up with your nuts sheering off as has happned ion the past.

dont take the chance.

I'm having the wheels machined out and sleeves bonded inside. I can get the sleeves at £3.50 each. Anyone know of a good machinist who could machine out the wheels to pop the sleeves in?

My old zed had the BBS spoked wheels. The guy I got them from reckoned they were the oem option? they had spacers on the front. He was from on here as well (before I knew about the forum).

Well the wheels are solid, they're worth 450 each without tyres so decided i'm going to make the most of them.

£120 for the set, a fair few hours polishing them up

£40 to get the bent one straight and its a bloomin amazing job he's done too, update pics to follow

Just about to order a bench polisher and take them completely apart to finish the rims off (£50 quid with a selection of mops and polishers)

Two new tyres for the back £160 for a pair of 255 35 R18s (Continentals)

£40 quid for the engineering and the sleeves to be put in.

Maybe actually spray the centres up black as i have to respray one centre. Might as well change the colour now :)

Once i've bought all that i'll be up to £410 quid which is only 102 quid a wheel so not bad
