Thought as i had a bit of spare time i'd take my front wheel off and see what the new rims look like on there.

Only problem, the flipping centre bore is too small on the wheel, gutted :( Remembered muffy saying they were off a supra when i bought them just checked and here are the stats...

PCD 5 x 114.3 (for both)

Offset 35-38 (35-42 for zed)

C/Bore 60 (66 for zed)

So what do i do and am i going to need spacers as well, this whole wheel replacement thing just got a whole lot more complicated and expensive :(

(incidently not muffy's fault, i bought them thinking they'd be exactly the same silly me)

Only problem with that is if the wheels start to move about (if that's what its for i assume?)

Possibly a small spacer with a centre spline cut in the right diameter for the wheel?

where would you get a spacer from then?

iv just got supra wheels and yet to fit them, dont wanna take them to get fitted and find they wont!!

wheels are stuck solid on so need garage to free off! arghh!!

I'm sure you could manage that mate!! big rubber mallet is all it takes. 15min job. Save some cash and buy some spacers! Its probably all the garage will do and they'll charge you for an hours labour.

Any idea where to get some?

And will that involve having to buy bigger studs?

Thats odd, mine were off a Supra and fit perfectly?

If they had a larger centre bore to start with then they would. They might not have been made for a supra.

Is it a tight fit the centre bore or loose?

...interesting!

mine is getting tyres fitted this evening, i wonder what the out come will be?

hope it doesnt involve yet more money!!

will let you know how i get on

Best of luck matey :D

Problem mine has is the wheels won't go flat to the hub (obviously because the lip of the hub sticks out and its too wide to locate in the hole of the wheel)

I think if yours fit on flat you should be okay, touch wood

As in when you bolt them on there should be no space between the centre of the wheel and the hub itself? Otherwise the wheel wobbles all over the place, the bolts work free and the wheel drops off :(

lol, should be fine, its so noticeable on mine i picked it up straight away so i think you'd have known by now :D

Not entirely sure what your problem is with the fitting, I just meant it seems a waste of money getting a garage to knock them off with a mallett!

I think Halfrauds do spacers? most car stores will at any rate. Your studs should be fine.

Are you sure you haven't got boss adaptors in your wheels. just chek the inside of the wheel and make sure its not just an adaptor pushed into the centre of the wheel ?

Checked but there's no adapter in there its a machined edge

Can't believe your contemplating that spacer bodge bud! -how much meat is there around the hub of the wheel?-get em bored to 66mm-job done! ;)

Well that's the other (sensible) option i'd concidered but who would do that and how much would it cost is the big question?

There's plenty of meat on them :D

i know...if it not one thing its another!

hopefully will get this hiccup sorted tomorrow, trip to local motor factor i think.

also seen some on ebay for bout 25-30quid

will all be worth it when fitted!!

not too bad, i'm going to have to buy some locking wheel nuts when i pop mine on anyway, the thieving gypo from down the road will no doubt have his eyes on them :D

chuffed to bits, i think they look fan-bloody-tastic!!!
