Erratic timeing marks?

Can anyone tell me what causes the above?

I set it to 15 btdc and you can watch it with a gun and it will suddenly jump to above TDC and then return.

Anyone had this happen to them?

    Bad connection on the tps, the hard idle switch advances the timing as you open the throttle, a bad connection can do the same, also check the CAS connection.
