do the turbos need to be water feed or can i block off the water feed to the turbos ,and is there any benefit to doing this if it can be done?thanks for any help

if its the oem garrett turbos then no

 

know a couple of people run without coolant feeds,but i would use them if i was you,can do a plenum bypass direct to the turbos of the rear pipes though

 

some aftermarket turbos do not require coolant feeds but the stock do

stage 2 hybrids are going on it,and am doing a plenum bypass so if the turbos have the feeds is it best to bypass the plenum to the turbos?thanks greg

If you have bought the turbos and they have fitments for water cooling, if you don't water cool, then you may invalidate the warranty!

thats ok,we have always used the feeds ;) apart from the odd aftermarket application!

If you have bought the turbos and they have fitments for water cooling, if you don't water cool, then you may invalidate the warranty!

 

Never mind the warranty, you will cook the bearings - they are water cooled for a reason ;)
