Oke guys the twinZ from Peru are saying: if we get enough people together to buy this bumper we can get it a lot cheaper if we bulk buy. :D i.e. shipping costs and distribution in the UK.

sorry guys i missed the question,

 

ok,. when i wanted this bumper, i joined the forum they were part of, and pm'd the guy claiming it was his project, i asked about a price and shipping, i was given another name to e mail, saying he would provide the details, i mailed the other person, and got told i needed to ask yet another person, so i got fed up, and miled on the forum, if you have a look, you will see the posts as they are the only ones i made.

 

in the whole, very unhelpful, extreamly expensive to ship, i checked my own shipping online, and they were charging over DOUBLE claiming the extra was for packing !!!!!!!!

 

the feeling i got (this is only my view) was it was FAR to risky to send any money to them, they slagged off a guy who they claimed copied the project then when approached just came across very unreliable

 

this is only my view, you guys may get on well, and get a good deal.

 

but if i was offered free shipping on it now, i would NOT send my money there sorry.

 

also, you have to think long and hard, what if fittment is poor? what if it arrives and quality is poor? what if its damaged? peru is a fooking long way to send anything back guys

 

ive bought full body kits from LA before, so i know how it works and what it costs, im not blind, nor am i stupid, hence why i still have my money and new uk sourced front

T-Top, sorry for not giving you the confidence on us that you were expecting...

 

Just to clarify the situation, when you were interested in getting a fascia, we were offering you one of the fascias we already have on stock in the U.S....That's why you had to contact our distributor in the U.S. (Charles Park of http://www.PowerTrix.com, a well known Z parts distributor in the U.S.), since he's the one that manages all the front bumpers we have there...At the end, he found out that the shipping price from the U.S. to U.K. for only 1 front bumper was too expensive (around US$400), so we concluded that shipping outside the US was gonna be impossible.

 

Right now, the scenario is completely different, since there's a good quantity of people in U.K. now, that knows the bumper and is interested in buying...So, now we can make new bumpers and ship them directly from Peru to U.K. (the same we did when we exported them to the U.S.).

 

Now the terms for the interested buyers are these:

 

- We need to deal with only one person that will be getting the fascias (all of them in a package directly from Peru), since we will be offering a CIF price (Cost, Insurance and Freight), so that person will have to do the transactions needed on the U.K. Customs to get them on his property and finally ship the fascias to each buyer, like a distributor in U.K.

 

- We need to make a group of 9+ buyers, so we can start making the fascias, since less than 9 fascias is not worth for us and it would be more expensive at the end...The more buyers, the cheaper it gets.

 

- We'll be working on the price to get it around the one we are offering in the US (includes shipping from Peru to the Port we'll agree to use in the UK, taxes and others), so the shipping will be an extra you'll have to pay to the person we'll be dealing with.

 

To the people worried about any damage on the shipping, we package the fascias the best as possible...We have shipped 40 fascias to the US and all of them got to their destination in perfect conditions.

 

Here's an example of the boxes we shipped to the US...Each box contains 10 fascias...We'll be making extra protection this time to make sure that all fascias get in perfect condition.

Note: The fascia comes with nose panel included (different from the stock one as you see on my blue Z)

I apologise for any hostility from any of our members, i know some people get a little wary if they have a bad experience but it happens sometimes.

 

Anyway, i was messaging to ask if you could answer a few questions. It looks like i will be organising a group buy for the club members so i need to know a few details before i start trying to get the numbers:

 

1. Do we have to order 9+ units, we currently have 4 members interested including myself so if we need to get more more before you will even accept an order i would need to know.

 

2. If the bumpers are shipped in a box of ten. What is the freight weight so either:

I have to note folks, i don't mind organising this but we have to agree 100% if we're going for these bumpers then we have to split the costs equally. I don't want to get lumped with a bill for $4000 + VAT + plus shipping

 

If the shipping is split 10 ways £400/£500 quid shipping comes out as £40/£50 quid each on top of the $465/£252 so around the 300 quid mark each which isn't too far off what you'd pay for equivalent bumpers (plus internal postage or we could agree to meet somewhere for distribution JAE, etc)

 

The more we order the lower the costs of the shipping
