parking arial in the bumper?

Parking ariel thingy thats probably been removed from your front bumper

is that for the sensor? Why would it have been removed? When I bought the car they jokingly offered me this tatty small looking ariel that they said was from the front of the car but I let them keep it. They said it was radio related though. Could that be it or is that something else entirely?

its usually a retractable aerial that pops up to aid parking. not for radio

yeah. To be honest I'm not really sure what they said and it might not have been the parking sensor as it was a dodgy looking old thing. Were parking sensors an option on zeds or are they aftermarket?

Aftermarket I think but very popular so they should have known exactly what it was for.

I never asked them about the button. My fault really I just didn't listen properly when they were telling me what the aerial was for. To be honest it looked far too big to pop out of the bumper.
