Timing Belt or Chain?

Hi guys,

 

Dont know much about engines, but does the 300zx Z32 (1994) have a timing belt or timing chain?

    How hard are they to fit? If very difficult to get to, how much to get fitted professionally?

     

    Im viewing a 300zx on tuesday. Its done 46,000 miles. I know the recommended time to change the belt is 60,000 miles. Is this the maximum or just the recommended mileage?

    I guess about £200 upwards to be done by a garage, not the easiest thing to do and as you stated you dont know much about engines in your first post I would advise you to pay someone to do it. Needs water pump etc to be replaced at the same time ideally.
