All this slaggin of bikers from some members?????

Obviously lot dont ride then? I think it should be law that before you can even think about driving a car you should be made to pass the CBT. Obviously there would be exceptions for disabled people and the like but it would give everyone a very good idea how to drive a lot more safely. Because believe it or not MOST bikers are far more carful than car drivers. :nono:

totally agree 100% ;)

I agree too. Riding a motorbike def makes you more aware. Got hit 3 times on my motorbike by stupid people that just dont bother looking cause they are in their nice safe cage!!!!!!

Especially wet conditions, so many cars think they dont have to slow down cause they have four wheels. Put em on two and show them how slippery the roads can be.

Specially people who drive diesels and make a point of spilling it all over the road, TWATS.

:p who said anything about the beast it was my vauxhall astra, boys

I think I speak for us all, when I say: git!!!

Glad you, the zed, and the biker are OK. :)

Jas... must be gut wrenching to see happen to ur zed but like you say your fcomp so all should be righted but its still a pain in the arse and can take months to get sorted so theres still the inconvienience to yourself.

Hope its back to its full glory sooner rather than later

Agree... Doing so many miles on all the major roads aswell as central london Ive found bikers to be the most aware of whats going on around them...by far.

They are calculative and ride with a caution you will hardly ever see compared to many car drivers.

After all...most bikers know its their lives they have to loose and not their ncb!

Obviously you still get the kamikazee courriers which take the p1ss and are fookin dangerous which sounds like jasons unlucky encounter but thats a minority and they have to expect to be injured or even worse killed oneday for the way they ride and its a shame they dont think of the danger they pertrude to others...

As Vini says...if "all drivers had to take a bike test" or even better ride a bike for a year before being able to get behind the wheel of a 1 ton missile then you would have alot less careless driving and dare I say it.. "More Considerate drivers" :D

yup...second worst hate to tailgaters :nono:

Unfortunately you will come across bad car drivers, bad bike riders and inconsiderate lorry drivers....

But...

There are also a number of good drivers/riders that save alot of accidents and lifes just by using the golden rule of driving/riding:-

Spend 99% of your time driving/riding for others

Spend 1% of your time driving/riding for yourself

ooooooooooo.....ive come across all humble :D

I did think you love your dog much more than I love Muttley....He has never been in my Zed.

well I am amazed... I watch this site all the time but rarely post but this time I feel very strongly compelled to do so.

I am shoked at how many people omn here have complete disrespect for bikers (even before they knew the facts of the accident or even new if the person on the bike was insured) it was the usual crap that all us biker's get every day.

well I hope he was sorry, well I hope he was insured, well I'm sorry ya car got dented... sorry for ya inconvienience etc etc etc. Not many words saying was the biker ok or alive.

Well apart from being a biker I also am a car driver and use a 300zx,and a Caddilac STS as daily driver's ( I dont have garaged toys that go out on a sunday only).

I also drive both my cars and my bike like a complete Tw*t some days (like most of you do when ya get ya toy out).

If I make a mistake it is my fault and I am well insured so no problem and it looks like this guy is the same and lets face it he never hit the precious Z so get off his case all the bike haters.

Fer christ sake... wot is up with you people???

unless posts were deleted, I only see 1 post in this thread slagging of bikers and lots of threads saying how great bikers are !!

I was told a very intersting thing by the Trafic cop that was dealing with my motorbike crash (caused by another biker overtaking me on a bend).

Anyway 80% of bikers stoped for speeding do not waer proper clothing and only have a light jacket gloves and boots. It is also the same about accidents caused by bikers, most of them do not waer proper clothing. It has something to do with mentality (nothing will happen to me) I had full leathers with spine protectors etc... and the other biker, only helmet and gloves.

Don't label all bikers as twats, but there are a lot of pricks on bikes.

I can understand where you are coming from m8 as I have been riding bikes for over 26 years.....I seen it all both bad and good car drivers and bikers.

BUT...

When it comes down to it this forum is full of folk who take great pride in there motors. I too have a zed and what is worrying me at mo is that im spending a lots of ££'s making this car unique, as did jason, sooooo....you just cant replace it when it gets a whack, if you could it would be friggin pricey.

When some tw@t who just got his bike/car off the shelf and drives into me I just cant walk away and replace it (they may be able to just pop down the local showroom and buy another anonymous ride)....insurance just doesnt cover the time we spend on personalising these cars.

My point....it wouldnt make any difference to the folk here if it was a car or bike that hits us, bad driving is bad driving.

And yes from time to time we all have a play at our own risk with the zed but Im sure anyone of us here would stand up and say 'I lost it cos I was driving like a tw@t, my fault'.

Its not that we hate bikers here, we only detest the stupidity of silly drivers!!

On the topic of hate... and I say this on behalf of all of us on the forum (I hope)

WE TRULY, TRULY HATE CHAVS :D and their pimped up faggott wagons ;)

it's pretty obvious it ain't the Z cos we would of had photos

we have had photos of it going to bed, getting up, going out to play, on holiday, i reckon Jason is paparazzi and keeps catching himself  ;)

I think that several of us on here are either also into bikes, or have been in the not to distant past. The only time I spent a night in hospital following a bike accident was down to a 16 year old on a moped pulling out from the side of the road in to my 750, the stupid git didn’t even look and had I been a car/truck he would have been dead, instead we both spent a little time in hospital.

Equally I’ve been sitting at 1) a Zerba Crossing, 2) Traffic lights when some idiot in a car has driven in to the back of me, the first one drove away, but was chased and stopped by another car driver, barely had time to slag off the car driver who crashed into me when another one came to my rescue.

Before I bought my Z five weeks ago I was intent on buying a Kawasaki ZX1400, 200BHP, 200+MPH, but despite being a former voluntary RAC/ACU instructor, Institute of Advanced motorist, attended many Police and other better driving/rider courses and wearing the right gear, there is still no real protection on a bike, and I have a daughter who needs her father, so I bought the Z.

At the end of the day, its not bike or cars that are twats, it’s the drivers, some twats ride bike and some drive cars, vans trucks and the rest of us fear them all.

I ride a cagiva mito mk1 on L plates, but from day 1 I've always worn full leather.....you never know whats round the corner....Looking forward to doing my test!! :) :)

How the fvck do diesel drivers spill diesel all over the roads? surely its got the same chance of slopping out at a petrol car? ie hardly any.

:p who said anything about the beast it was my vauxhall astra, boys

Jason you big fat tart!

 i should have realised you didnt seem as pi$$ed off as you would have been if it had been your Z.

My goodness! Unbelievable. Glad you made it out of that one! I have a bike (albeit of the pedal variety which is unusually common here), and can vouch for a similar amount of doziness amongst certain drivers.... mind you, only because I was hovering my foot over the brake in anticipation (sometimes you can just tell people are going to be stupid) I managed to avoid smashing into a Mondeo that pulled out in front of me earlier, and that was in the zed, which is pretty hard to miss in broad daylight!

Bottom line is that there are some people who simply should never be allowed within 50 feet of the controls of any kind of vehicle, whether it's car, or bike, or anything else for that matter. Just plain dangerous.
