I was checking something out with datascan and I noticed my O2 sensor going up and down, all over the place. After I rev it, it will sit at about 17 for 10 seconds, then pop straight up to 80 odd. Then A/F ratio and the O2 sensor go rich lean, rich lean, up and down, then settle about 17. Is this ok? I have a JWT chip..

Yeah, it dose. Just did a bit of a run, and while I was cruising it was going rich-lean, rich-lean every couple of seconds. When I gave it a little, it went lean, then I gave it a bit more and every time it went rich?? Dose this sound normal? Maybe I need to get it on a dyno power run and see what it is doing.

If your O2 sensor(s) are gone your car will run like a dog as mine's having both replaced now. Its like driving a van coz it constantly overfuels.

Runs fine. Probably just being paranoid.

 

One other thing I just noticed. I fitted a greddy profec b 2 at the weekend. Its running like a dream. Boosting excellent 9ish in low and 14.5 in hi. The only thing is, I noticed a kind of tapping coming from the drivers side of the car when I really gave it some. No loss of boost, just a tapping sound? If I turn off the boost controller, it's fine?

 

Also, I fitted some cheap dump valves. I didn't need any performance out of them because I have an auto. They don't seem to dump very hevily. I can hear a bit of a whoosh when I come off the gas. Is it a massive problem if they don't dump unless you really boot it?
