bolt on power

I know my Z's off the road needin an engine and this is the last think i should be thinking of but can anyone technical answer this,

 

If you bolt on a supercharger or turbo kit would you have to change the internals of the engine or would it run as it was?? Eg ECU, Cams, Crank etc....

    You will need to sort the internals and everything else for that matter.
