Some broken line?

Found something nice in the engine bay... actually it's broken and I aint got a clue what it is. Can any one help? I've got a bit of red vac line, is it ok just to replace it with that as it seems to be coming off and out of the bar on the plenum.

    thats the boost senser,yep just replace it with another vac hose

    That's nice to know that it isnt anything too serious as I never noticed before until I started taking all the unnecessary crap out of the engine.
