I wish I was getting so far, currently doing about 150 miles to a tank full, dodgy O2 sensor isnt helping

13.6 mpg (approx)

Not good but if it was round town / going nuts on back roads not a disaster.

If fuel consumption is low, its a sign there is a problem.

Ok, rite..... get this then,

Just bought a Z sat & drove it fm slough bak 2 coventry,

bout 94 miles.

I put £30 in & only used half!!!!!

Answers on a postcard........

changing at 3-4k sounds a bit high for a normal drive, i change up at about 2.5 - 3k round town

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

100 miles = £40

(heavy foot prehaps) :D

£40 = about 38 litres (assuming you're on super / optimax).

= 8.3 gal

So you're getting about 12mpg then.

Surely there's something wrong with your car?

lol...12mpg....that much :hurl:

Fraid so..and im running TESCO 99ron at just under a quid a litre.

It'll probably be the decatting and straight through exhaust with the 17psi :slap:

o2 sensors are good on the ConZult....

Prehaps im being too Burt Reynolds :D

I get usually 30 miles for £10 but almost all my driving is town driving.

Alot of zeds seem to be the same so your man above who uses £40 in 100 miles ain't really that bad, he probably just likes to get the foot down, as would most people who buy a fast car do.

I'd expect poor fuel consumption round town but if I was getting those sorts of figures on open roads I'd have to wonder.

Would de catting effect mpg

Mark

Yep !! But recon it's cause the car lights up far better on right foot push .. it's a fun thing :)

Mine is standard TT auto and I've been getting 180-200 miles from a full tank (£60), which seems to be pretty much in-line with what most other people are getting.

After all, it aint a diesel Mondeo!

i drive 36miles a day and it costs a tenner in optimax, works out about 18 miles to a fiver = 16mpg (driving normally with the odd burst here and there)

Jap tt manual

It sounds like I'm doing really well with mine, I'm averaging at about 21mpg. I went to Taunton and back on Monday and it cost me £44 and did about 250 miles including some blasts as my mate had just picked up his GT4. Normally driving to work and back I get about 50 miles to a tenner.

best I've gotten out of the TT is 310miles from a full tank down to having the needle on the red for about 15miles. That final quarter of a tank sure does disappear fast!

I drove back from Manchester (180) miles and used just under half a tank, but that was driving fairly gently.... going up there I used about 3/4 of the tank. This is one car where how you drive really makes a difference.

Normal driving (tho ive been told i drive with a heavy foot) and i get with a combination of urban/open roads i get about 40-45 miles for a tenner of OPtimax-with a TT.
