I have my aircon and windscreen wiper control switch gear removed from the car.

I want to take apart the windscreen wiper module, have removed the securing screws so the module is ready to come out apart from the thumbwheels are retaining it in the plastic housing.

 

My question is ;- how are the thumbwheels held in?

 

Will they simply pull off?

 

Would appreciate some experienced advice in case I trash the plastic surround.

Inner one pulls out then you can release the large wheel.
