In my towns Winter Mens Doubles Final today against 2 kids I used to coach. Should be a luagh, my partner is just back from a 3 week injury layoff, we hd to play teh semi finals yesturday after another whole day of tennis coaching and a tournament.

Im way too old for this, but just for once have nothnig to loose as we are the underdogs.

 

Just hope my partner dont get in a strop.

Come on Chris this sounds like your just making the excusses before hand :rofl: . It happen to everyone mate even the greats. The agillity of young at some stage catches up to the skill and experience of old age :D :rofl: :rofl:

Good luck, use every trick in the book and more. Out smart them, you have the greater experience. Racquet sports rule. (Ex county Squash player myself)

Unfortunatly I didnt factor in that my partner decided to go through a kevin and perry moment. Was 4.0 down in the second set till I finaly got his head out his doom and gloom ass.

 

But on the bright side, They have been unbeaten in 2 years and havent lost more than 5 games in teh whole tournament. Maybe I should come out of competetive retirement completely and kick their ass for good.

 

Did feel realy strange that I was the coach, or ex coach in all 3 juniors cases.
