Hi, well after the Bolney meet (which was excellent) I drove home and my car turned itself off at a round a bout. Started easily but had a loud noise coming from engine. Had it towed home to find out that I think a big end bearing has come loose. Car idles well, no missing, just rattles like hell if I rev even slightly.

 

Have a mechanic to help me, but I need to know if we can get to the bottom end without removing engine.

 

Any advice would be welcome. Engine not long re built, but not happy to return it to those who did work ??
