Watch out if you change those plastic tyre valve caps. I replaced mine about 6 months ago with aluminium caps. They've oxidised inside practically welding themselves to the valves.....now I can't get the bloody things off to check the tyre pressures. Best stick to the plastic ones....looks like a trip to a tyre fitter for new valves. :-(

Hmmmm sounds like quality piece of aluminium you have there, i suggest getting hold of the company that supplied then and fileing a particularly nasty law suit, tho i might have been reading tt.net too much recently lol.

William, you obviously spend too much time in Halfords. Were they the colour co-ordinated ones?

Or does the weight saving add that much more power to weight? ;-) Simon Pass

Guilty ! they were colour co-ordinated and from Halfords.

But..they did look good until Sunday when I crunched them with a clamp trying to get the buggers off !

Ha, Ha, gotcha, you've been looking in that glass case they have with all the shiny bits like drilled pedals and go faster hand-brakes.

There should be a notice on the display case saying 'Only Nova drivers will be sold these products!'

I've heard the yellow 'Sparco' Velcro attachments you can fit round the stock seat-belts are worth 10-20 BHP! ;-)
