I just got to borrow a gizzmo that times your 0-60 times, after working it out I got a time of 6.25.

 

Hows that and whats yours.

 

By the way I'm pretty stock apart from a induction kit and exaust.

if its a reliable time it gives then your about a second off the pace i'd think,isnt stock 5.2?

I only did the one run and I need to practice my launch, it was a bit spinny.

5.5secs is average, published 0-60 time. Car and Driver got a flat 5.0 secs from a SWB TT Manual.

 

I have done a 5.3secs recorded by carputer on damp road with far too much wheelspin, will have a few more goes, I know I can easily get it under 5secs

0-120: 19.5 sec.

Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec.

Quarter Mile Speed: 102 mph

thats the only one i can be bothered finding right now but i've seen anywhere from 5.0 to 5.6,6+ i would hope they are meaning times for the z31 or saftey boost,lol

Use a stopwatch and a sat-nav/ tomtom, for your mph and a good bit of flat straight road.!!!

Just been out again, man its addictive, and got 5.75 but think I still need to practice my launch.

auto n/a lwb with blitz filter, 7 secs dead :(

Mines about 7 secs now .. with the weight of the sytem in probably be down to 10's (sigh)

anyone have any idea how say running 1bar of boost impacts your 0-60? will it knock as much as half a second off?

Whats normal boost. I thought it was 1 bar. The times stated in the mag arent they for a brand new ZX, they are up to 15 years old now.

Stock boost is 9psi / 0.62 bar

i get 4.5 with my new recon. turbos 1990 tt

sensible mods like full ZTech engine rebuild, traction control, launch control, manual, good clutch (APRacing), new good tyres and lots of practice over the last few days (check my other posts).

 

4.5s timed on my gtech pro.

 

I am getting ready for santa pod and I am quickly learning it is ALL about the launch. I know I can get quicker still, but I don't want to be too brutal on my car... it's my baby!

I get about 5.5-6 running standard boost with cat back exhaust and K&N filter.

Mine isn't one of the Greddy Monsters... anyone got a time for MAC1 or Kirbz? their times must be bonkers!

So how do these times compare to other fast cars?
