Hi All

Noticed various comments over the years about these- even damage & grounding especially for Z'ds!

Came across 1999 Road Hump Regulations today- apparently max hieght permissable is only 100mm- trials of different humps only used 75mm!

Seen plently higher than this especially in London- if you run foul worth measuring, photographing & taking advice I reckon as they dont have a leg to stand on

- What do you all think?

Regards

Dave

Excellent piece of research  Armed with this info i'm off to measure the humps on my estate. Fed up of catching exhausts, and we're just about to have a body kit fitted.

They should be removed. They are bad for the environment, I have to take the long way everywhere in south London to avoid them, burning more fuel thus harming the environment un-neccessarily. Then again my car is slammed to the deck.

Thank you very much indeed! Much appreciated. There are a couple of humps round my way where the car grounds if I've got people in the back. Cambridge City Council.... your ass is mine!!!!!
