Can anyone who has had Falken tyres on theirs Zeds tell me what the wear rate is like on them?

My fronts are due for replacement in a couple thousand miles and am considering Falkens as replacements to the Bridgestones I have on at the mo.

i seem to average about 9000 miles a set, the fronts wear quicker that the rears also it seems, I like them.

Got new sets waiting to go on both the NA and TT, The NA is going to be wearing them at Japfest, so i'll let you know on what the grip is like over the Bridgestones that are on it at the mo.

got falkens on the front of mine, very happy with them. In the wet they are great, wear doesnt seem too bad although ive only had mine on for maybe 1500miles, but still looking good.

They dont offer much in the way of rim protection if you have a tendancy to kerb rims, but to be honest that doesnt bother me as i just leave that extra gap.

When its time for new rear tyres i will be putting falkens on the back too!

got falkens all round on mine wearing well in fact hardly at all, although my z has only done 80 miles with them on it's been parked in the body shop since :x: :headvswal

TBH I don't know how many miles mine have done but have been on over a year and still look fine.

my current rears are Toyo Rs and after 6k miles they've only worn down a couple of millimetres which surprises me as they are known to wear fast.

Not sure whether to put Toyos on the front too or Falkens as the Bridgestones haven't lasted that well and front end steering feel seems a little vague to me.

Hi mate,

Got falcons on my mate's TT. They grip in the wet with the boost on. Got them also on my city-car. XR3I and a year later still got grip on them. I paid £360. on the car balanced and all u can't beat that price if you burn them out all day!!!!

2x255/17/35,,,,,2x235/17/40,,....

cheap tyre's YES!!!!! how long do you what them to last "is " the ""Q""

Had mine on for nearly 2 years now and will have to replace them in the next few months.. Lasted miles longer than the Toyo's and I do drive my Z really hard... As mike said the front have warn quicker than the rear's but I think that's down to the Car being Heavier at the front and some hard cornering over the years.

can anybody beat £360 all in !!!!!!!!!

I can get Falken 451's for £55 plus fitting or Toyo S's for £64 plus fitting. I'd ideally want the boots to last for 15k plus.

Do Zed front tyres wear quicker at the front? I'd have thought as a powerful rear wheel drive car, the rears would run out much faster? That's what I find in my other car.
