:confused: after a leeter received from the police, I have just made a call to the police follwing my allegation regarding my 300zx that my accelerator was stuck. ive been told after 1 month that they wont let the insurers deal with my car untill they have finished inspecting the vehicle. if they find that theyre was no mechanical fault then i could be done for driving without due care or which i may get a mininum of 6 points.

 

got any advie for me im scared now that everything will ok with my car. how do the police check the vehicles?

mate, do not lie to them ( as much as we probably all would try to think of a way out ), its not worth it, they will know everything they need too about the cars, they'll probably have all the specs on the car and will know any mods etc that you have on there,

Other problem is if the insurance are told that the car was not road worthy or has modifications which aren't declared you may find yourself uninsured. This can be classed as fraudulent if you did know that car is moddified (it will be obvious mate), i doubt the insurance will do anything apart from not pay out which may leave you with a bill to pay for other car, recovery from the scene of incident, any other fees that been incurred basically.
