As I can't drive my zed far (heater matrix hose leaking) spoke to Iain on friday about the scotchcorner meet an told him I would be in the corsa an did he have room for a passenger.

So today was the day I had a taste of GREDDY POWER :nana2: and was not dissappointed. Left the corsa on Iains drive an off we went to meet the few who actually drive there zeds in the northeast :D .

Pulled out of estate on to main road 1st, 2nd backend steps out an we get a bit of sideways action this being at 11.45am on a very warm day an dry road just shows how much power this is putting out, Iain gives a

slight laugh as I make a grab for something to hold on to .

Met the rest of the guys who bothered to turn up at scotchcorner

Apache

Tizer

Steve300zx

Ultimatezorro

Stayed there for a while also a Saxo meet on maybe we should make a joint meet next time to make the numbers up :nelson:

Then off to Fountains Abbey a quick 20 minute run down the A1, A61 through Ripon

As we pulled off the A1 on to the A61 this was a clear strech of the road (the A1 being really busy  ) so this was Iains chance to show me what Greddy power is all about "people say these turbos are real laggy", so a foot full of the go peddle and 20psi Mac engages warp drive and we reach mid three figure speeds with plenty still left but with cars aproaching fast Mac backs off. Just to point out this was not a straight round had some twisties at the start and I was very surpised at the great handling of the beast.

Planned on taking a vid of this with my phone but to be honest was to busy holding on and **** me was my heart beating when we slowed.

Also very surprised at the great drivability the beast had through Ripon at very low speeds over speed bumps etc.

So a big thanks to Mac for the chauffeuring

Phil for the Tea and scones :D

Can't wait till the beast gets the twin fuel pumps fitted and running 30psi ;) :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:
