Parked my car on my parent's drive on thursday. This morning I get a phonecall from mum saying someone has thrown paintstripper all over it.

 

So I went over (4 miles away) and FFS look what i found.

 

 

 

 

 

I have no idea who has done this, or why someone would want to do this, as i have not lived at mum and dad's house for 11 years now :rolleyes: and as far as I know have no beef with anyone round there.

 

.................. so there. When it rains it pours.

I know this aint what you need to hear right now, but to be honest that dont look like pure vandalism? They have tried their best to hit every panel and that stincks of revenge? Therefore there could be any number of reasons. Mistaken identity seems to be the most obvious if you have no beef with anyone. I presume you have told the police and if you are insured F/Comp you will be able to claim. I know this might not be of any help but I would consider asking around and see if anyone saw anything?

 

Its a fooking shame that there are people that would do this kind of thing and if it isnt revenge I shudder to think who in their right mind would do this out of pure jealousy?

Vinniboy.......... if you look on the drive, there is a T5 volvo and a Honda Jazz. They did not get any traces of Nitromors on those. Also there is a Toyota Hilux parked on the kerb.

 

They went after the Z no doubt. But why????? The car hadn't been used much since the trackday.

 

 

Speedemon, I have a fully comp motor traders policy, which I have 2! (yes 2!) claims going through at the moment! (both claims women pulled out on me in my 306 Dturbo, now that's written off!) so I guess there will be no problem. My gut feeling is they will right it off. I might buy it back, i might not. I'm fooking lost now.....dont know what to do.

Fer fek sake that is sick.................Rob ask the police or local shops or businesses to see their security videos even small shops have them they could show a group of kids walking past or up to no good elsewhere ........i hope you find out who is it give me a PM and i will happily come down and pour paint stripper in their eyes for you .....absolute low life scum..what has this country come to ............hope you get it sorted mate ....on a bright note it may be time to consider that new colour scheme or shade of red ........Tornado red ( audi ) is nice ..so is Vauxhall VXR red with a nice pearl or flip to it ....

I would of thought the value of the Z is a hell of a lot more than a full respray?? so I would,nt have thought they write it off mate. Get a few quotes from local bodyshops explaining what happened as most will give a better price if you explain what happened. Maybe you could get it resprayed in black or something?? jk.I hope it works out for you mate. ATB.

Gutted for you Rob, they have really wanted to do a proper job on that one thats for sure and it is not going to be cheap to sort it. Have you any idea who it could be?

that is pure evil, the thought that someone delibratly went out with paint stripper to ruin somebodys paintwork is totaly beyond me.

i say it again to everybody get a security camera on your properties. for the sake of £30 atleast you are a step closer to catching them...

Notice that some of the Nitromoors went over the Glass roof, if the glass has been marked and wont look right, let me know, as I have a spare set of

"T" Roofs going spare ! No charge for them if it helps any, and they are in red.

 

I would be well pissed off !! :mad:
