Houghtons do classic insurance .. just had my renewal through .. not too bad .. £325 ish with limited mileage and all mods declared ..

The weird thing is if I didn't have the Zed on Classic Insurance and I sold my everyday car ... it would be around 275.00 fully comp with my Mr's as a named driver and for business use as well ... work that fooker out ...

Its my second year with them now, I really dont think they can be beaten on price, never had to claim though so cant comment on what they would be like at paying out.

This is my third year with them ... I am 39 and the premium didn't change since living in a sleepy village in East sussex to this 'Jungle' ..

had a nova back in 2004, it was nicked outside my house, found it burnt out in melton

the police phoned me to say they had found the car, i then phone adrian flux and tell them where the car is for them to pick it up or whatever they do

 

so far so good i thought (except the car being nicked of course)

 

they didnt phone me for a few days so i rang them back

 

"Hi, its Mr Dealey, did u pick my car up?"

"errr not really no"

"what u mean not really?"

"the recovery company could not find it"

"what???? ur telling me u could not be arsed to find my car"

"Please watch ur language"

"This is a a joke, i give u word for word what the old bill told me and give u there number!!!!"

 

anyway i ahd to find my car myself FFS

 

bunch of ****ing retards, not got a clue

 

got put through to them a min ago and was told i had 3 at fualt claims against me (1st nova smash, 2nd nova theft and a 3rd a 306 smash) the police said i wernt at fault for the first accident and adrian flux themselves gave me back my 3 years no claims. when i asked the girl what was going on she then changed her tune saying she didnt know then cut me off

too late ive already insured my car with them lol, my mate had a car nicked and they sorted him out no probs

 

like most things they have some good reviews and some bad

yea i understand that m8, just watch them ;)
