I had mine converted in November, I rang DVLA and asked what to do, they said send your log book back with a letter explaining what the changes are.

Hmmm, it wasn't noted on the form whether it's auto or manual so I assumed you didn't have to tell them. Ooops ...

WELL AS FAR AS THE INSURANCE COMPANY I WORK FOR IS CONCERNED IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE, HOWEVER ONCE YOU CONVERT ITS CLASSED AS I MODIFICATION SO THEY MIGHT CHARGE YA MORE :slap:

i declared my conversion to insurers as a modification, but i couldnt see any trace about transmission on my logbook so didnt tell DVLA [yet].

cant see the word AUTO anywhere - or anything to do with transmission. should be ok... [to be edited in a few months' time where i then say "i wish i'd declared it so i wouldnt be serving a 20 year jail sentence!]

But yours is an import isn't it?

mines a uk sp the docs are correct on mine lol
