i have not long bought a 300zx tt import with a cobra alarm/immobiliser the 7928 model

 

the thing is that a mate of mine was trying to fix my high idle an when he went away i tryed to lock my car using the fob but nothing happend so i tryed to start the car but the immobiliser had kicked in.so with the fob not working i had to do it manual and lock the car with the key

 

I thought it might have been a battery so got a new one an still no joy has this ever happend to anyone else or do you have any ideas on what it could be i have tryed the search but no joy thanx for your help ianchy

Just ring Cobra. They have a network of agents all over the country.

I had my local guy out when I first got mine. Did a full check and demo on the system and sold me a spare "key". Wasnt expensive.

Thanx for that mate but got it sorted i was selling a honda when the buyer come to see the car he said whats wrong with your 300zx.i told him about the alarm he went over to it pressed the buttons on the fob an then started working he works for honda an is cobra approved an said if it happens again to phone him an bought my honda what a result eh could not ask for anymore could i
