hi,

is it possible to ad strut braces(or antiroll bars) to

front top bar

front bottom bar

and rear bar

will I need to buy bars made for 300zxTT or generic ones?

A guy said there is no room for front top brace because engine is too high?????

yes thanks guys...

indeed I;'m getting the frnot one from Luke at the zcentre...is only a few miles away from me...

Andy those Updated stabiliser bars, are they worth it?... will they make good amount of difference to the handling?

thanks again

later

Not sure how much difference they make because I had my shocks changed at the same time as they were fitted, however I feel that stability increased significantly. The original ones are rubbishy thin tubing, the replacements are solid bar and weigh about 4 times as much. There is also an element of adjustability, so you can increase/decrease the leverage and hence the stiffness.

I think they cost roughly £220 - £250 and mine came from MJP.

My car always used to creak, due to the frame flexing, when going up my driveway from the road (~25 degree slope). After installing the front tower (top) bar... no creaking. Also seemed to handle corners/curved roads better.

My top front tower bar Has worn a hole through the hood liner and now has a scratch (about thumb print size) mark on it from where it's rubbing on metal. I've had the bar installed for 2-3 years.

I have not had any problems closing the hood since installing the bar.

I upgraded my anti-sway bars (lower)(brand=suspension techniques) at the same time that I installed Eibach springs and new Nissan shocks. I'm not sure how much the upgraded bars helped... but, my car seemed to be much firmer feeling and have better cornering ability.

I'm going to be installing a rear tower bar later this week, so I can't say (yet) what effect it will have on driving quality.

I bought the STech bars & Eibachs from www.shox.com, and the Front & Rear tower bars from Courtesy Nissan(TX).

Hope this helps.

Fred
